We are going down to the Jersey Shore, it's the first time I've been, and Amanda's been talking, and talking about it. They have a boardwalk and tons of rides and stuff to do. I'm pretty excited and I'll put some pictures up when we get back.
The wedding last night was great, very beautiful and an amazing reception. It was nice meeting some of Amanda's extended family. Amanda and I even got to do a little salsa dancing, haha.
Peace

So far we had a ton of fun going to the Little Mermaid, we even got to go BACK STAGE with the actor who played Flounder. The craziest part was the guy who wrote Les Misérables was back there chatting with the cast!! So crazy. Anyway the play was good and had all the songs from the movie, and that was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. I'll put pictures up later of the back stage. We drove into NY which was crazy on it's own, but we had just enough time to go to the top of the Marriott (48th floor) and have a glass of wine on the spinning restaurant. Here is a picture of us waiting for out wine:
Then I had to do some hardcore NY City driving and go pick up one of Amanda's
high school elementary school and area friends.
Today we are just taking it easy and hanging out with the grandparents in the beautiful weather. We went and got real Italian ice which was great, get it if your ever in Passaic, NJ. Tomorrow we have Amanda's cuz's wedding which will be really fun. Other then that just relaxing. As you can see I put a map of where I am based on my iPhone, it's not very accurate because I don't have the new iPhone with GPS, but it gets pretty close. Let me know what you think...
Peace.

We are now leaving Connecticut and heading down to Passaic, NJ, via the wonderful and easy, but expensive, Amtrak Train.
An FYI if you ever take the train get your tickets online at least three days in advance, that's when you can stack up all the discounts to get a great price, unlike what we did. With a laptop and a cellphone modem you can basically get internet anywhere there is cell service, it's really nice.
Tonight is going to be great because for Amanda's birthday her mom, in cahoots with Donna (Philips sister), got her tickets to see
The Little Mermaid on Broadway!! It just opened and it was quite a feat, not only that we also get a backstage tour with Flounder after it's over!
We are cutting it close but leaving CT at 11 to get to NJ by 2:30 or so and then almost directly into the city to see the 7:30 showing, then after the show back to Passaic where we will be staying with Amanda's Grandparents, good thing we are still young. I'm excited for the amazing bagle sandwitch with egg and
taylor ham her grandmother makes, if you have never had it you should try it, it's amazing!
It was good seeing the people I was able to see in Connecticut but I wish I had more time to visit with old friends. I'll probably be back for Christmas, which isn't far off. I got to visit with Josh and Betsey, who is 8 months pregnant, I'm really excited to be able to see the baby, Madeline Elizabeth Woodward) when I come home for the holidays.

Our time here at the camp came and went, so fast! We had a really good time last night, playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and then UNO. We even added our own rules to Millionare by creating a new lifeline, ask
ChaCha. If you don't know what it is, it's pretty cool you text ChaCha (242-242) and ask anything you want. Cha Cha writes back with the answer. It's free, and they do a pretty good job answering your questions. Anyway it came in very handy for the toughest of questions in Who Wants to be A Millionare. Also thanks to all my friends who I called for phone a friend, including my dad for the religious one, good job. Anyway, now we are off to Connecticut for some good times in Hampton. I'm going to try to see as many people as I can and just enjoy the little ol' town.
Peace.

After an amazing dinner cruise with Lin, Chris, Kristin and Amanda we went out to a bar to meet up with some friends.
Even after that late night we got up at the crack of dawn (9:30) to drive into Boston so Amanda could see Bunker hill in the summer. She might have even got teary eyed when we pulled up (she really, really loves Colonial History). After climbing up to the top of the monument (all 292!!!) while out of breath we took some pictures and headed back down. Today we are headed out to my family's lake house to relax with friends and family. Peace!

US Air So Far...
It all started when we realized we hadn't booked our seats. I looked online and all of the sudden any seat left open was now $15 to book (ie to sit next to eachother) I called to find that yes, as of amongh ago this was true. Also ALL drinks are $2!! Not just break even but make a profit! We get to the airport, get to the gate and then I get pulled for an extra security screening! We get to Az and find our next flight is delayed by 2 HOURS!! Where are we now?? At a bar having a beer and a $3 shot that comes with it, that's just what you do when I flight is delayed. See you in Boston....2 hours late :)
***Update*** Overhearing conversation "They are going to do the best they can to get the plane here, they don't WANT to cancel the flight, they are trying to get it here" , "It's something mechanical, could be major...could be minor" GREAT!!
Fly on!
