Here, here it goes...

Well, again it's been awhile since I last posted to this blog. Life just gets in the way. Not a ton has happened since last post but things are definitely going well.

My job is going really well, I like it more and more as time goes on. And the additional perks are worth a lot more then money is. I can come and go if I need to, when Zack was here visiting I left early to play golf. I also have been able to travel quite a bit. I went to Boston and got to stay with my sister while I was there as well as have dinner with my parents. Then after I got back I almost right away had to go to Miami for a week to do training on our software. Because Amanda had just started her new job they let her leave and come to Miami with me. We had a blast, we stayed right in South Beach and even got to practice our salsa dancing with the best of them. Here is a picture of Miami from a Miami Heat game we got to go to for free, it was sweet seeing Shaq once in my life.
And here is a picture of us at the beach, funny picture because we just had someone take it and they thought fit to put the old lady front and center.
The next week I left on Tuesday to go to Las Vegas for the week for the PMA trade show. A huge, huge trade show in the Las Vegas convention center where we had a small booth in the back. It was an amazing to see how much interest there was in our software and get to talk to all our customers. And of course being in Vegas we got to spend some time going out. One thing I can say about my bosses is that they work hard but party harder. We even got to see a Vegas show, get dinner and drinks on SONY Inc. bling. After all that things have finally settled down and I'm getting back into the grind of work at the office.

We've had a few guest the last month, starting with Zack, then Chan (who I regret I didn't get to spend much time with because of the work in Miami) I did end up going to see him for a few hours in LA, and most recently Cal, Sam and Kate Pharmer came out for a week. Its great having guests and again anyone who's friends with me is welcome to come out and chill free vacation spot, we'll even feed you. It's starting to warm up and San Diego is coming alive. Amanda and I bought a 9 pack of Padres tickets so we're excited to go to some baseball games over the next few months, even one against the Red Sox!! We have also been taking salsa lessons and have been getting pretty good at it. I never thought I would be able to dance, let alone salsa! But we even signed up for intermediate lessons over the next few months, I'll let you know how THAT goes. Amanda got accepted in to USC which is a really, really good school for PR graduate work, but it's in LA and she would have to move there. Bummer for her because she would be in LA, and bummer for me cause she would be in LA but it's an amazing opportunity so thats good. Here is some pictures of the view from out apartment

and our palm tree

I finally got a little brother through Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I probably can't say too much about him but he is 13 and good at sports, why they matched him with me I'll never know, but we are going to the beach this weekend to throw a football for a few hours. That I can finally do thanks to intensive training from Eli and Derrick.

My car is good, I put a cold air intake in it and now it sounds even better then before. Already have 5,000 miles on it and it's running fine. My other form of transportation is my bike and I just recently got it fixed up and will hopefully start riding it.

As for the future, I need people to come visit! My parents are coming in April and I'm really excited about that, it will be good to see them and show them how I'm living like a king (and get some free meals, haha) We have already started planning out some events. Can't wait.

Anyway, thats about it. Please keep in touch with me, whoever still reads this, and I'll try to put some more pictures up on here!!!
