Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm spending this new year pretty low key. Sara and I, and some last minute friends are going into Saratoga Springs for their first night. We got a hotel within walking distance of all the activities, so we will have no worries once the festivities begin. My sister is on her way to Montreal with her boyfriend and some neighborhood friends. If she can it will be nice to see her on her way home. My parents as well as Sara's are just spending the time together relaxing. Last I heard half of my friends are going to Keen, NH and the other half are going to Boston. After working late last night Sara and I weren't up to diving three hours anywhere. I'll let you know how everything turns out and if Saratoga's first night is worth the $12 for the pin to get into the activities. We'll see... Happy New Year!

Tattoo

Well, Sara, Quinnen and I were finally tattooed yesterday. It's been long awaited, and is to commemorate the trip across country. I've always dabbled in the idea of a tattoo but never really had a reason to get one. I had strong feelings about not getting one, just to get one, and I wanted to make sure it was unique as possible. During the trip we all talked about getting one, even thought about playing rock, paper, scissors to see who would go first. There is also a rumor/deal that if a bike and builder gets a tattoo to commemorate the trip they get a free bike and build sweatshirt. I don't think anyones ever done it. So, after much online research and internal debate. Sara, Q, and I decided on a tribal bike design. It was artistic and I liked how it had a kind of flow to it, while still resembling a bike. I was slightly nervous but mostly excited, and after a few reschedules because of snow, Quinnen came up and we went to Needlewurks in Saratoga Springs. It hurt but not even close to as bad as I imagined at first, it was more annoying then anything. Other then the tattoo, nothing is new and work is okay, fun somedays, work others.
Here are the pictures:
