Here comes Summer!!

You wouldn't think living in San Diego I'd could possibly be excited for summer, but I am. Basically San Diego does change in the winter, the ocean goes crazy and gets cold, it's cloudy a lot and it cools down considerably. Now I'm not saying it's anything to complain about, I did grow up in New England, but summer will be a welcome change. The weather gets hot, and people flock to the beaches, about 12 Million a summer. Anyway, it will be nice once it's going in full force.

I've been very, very busy lately with work. In the last few months I've be traveling
a lot for work, which is exciting and fun but also fairly tiring. As you know I went to Miami, and then recently I went to Mystic, CT to do an install at my childhood Mystic Aquarium AND got to see the family. I flew into Providence and for a night I was able to hang out with all the Brown Bike and Build friends from the trip. It was great seeing them all. From there I flew to Chicago for an install at there Aquarium. My friend from Ithaca lives there and we spent some quality time together. I even got us both into the Aquarium for free. It was a long productive, fun trip. As soon as I got back though they sent me out to Charlotte, NC to do an install at Mike Waltrips new NASCAR museum. He was even there walking around checking out his cars...

It was a pretty easy job, all I had to do was a pretty simple setup, here is a picture of it before I cleaned everything up.

And of course when I saw this on the back of the car I couldn't help but laugh. The whole bike trip every time a Brown student did something dumb you would here someone say "What can Brown do for you?"

Directly from there I flew to see my sister for her College Graduation. We had a really good time, and again I got to catch up with some friends. It's always great to come back to Boston. Chan and I even got to catch a Sox game for $10.50 each!

We had a great time, later a bunch of Boston people met up at a great bar called the Squealing Pig. It's basically an Irish drinking/singing bar, a lot of fun!
Right before I left Lin and I even met up with some cousins we haven't seen in a long time, which was really nice.

All in all it was a great few weeks of traveling, but I'm very happy to be home!
Amanda and I are now looking forward to the summer because she was just offered a job at the top San Diego PR firm, Nuffer, Smith, and Tucker. It's an amazing offer and she seems much happier to stay in San Diego then move to crappy LA and spend that much on grad school. Luckily, USC said it's fine and in one year they will review her application and she can go then. So it's the best of both worlds.

This summer I have some people coming to visit, which I'm looking forward to, everyone else I better here from you and your free vacation requests!!
