Beam of death
So they are turning it on, sending the first beam of doom. Feel free to watch it live, that way at least you'll have a millisecond of warning...maybe. Here is the link, It's happening on Sept. 10th I guess starting at 9:30 am CET which I think is 9 hours ahead of me and 6 ahead of the East Coast. Will be a very exciting day in the science world.
